Gilbert, an international admissions officer from Loughborough University, came to visit Shishi Cambridge A-level Center on November 5th. Our academic principal Andrew Derham also attended this meeting. Gilbert gave us a brief introduction of Loughborough University in academics, climate, achievements, scholarship and advanced facilities. Many students showed their interests and listened carefully.

    Gilbert told us that Loughborough University is the largest single-site green campus in the UK. Many students are excited to appreciate beautiful pictures of Loughborough campus which Gilbert showed. Loughborough University is at the heart of England and it is well severed by road, rail and air. And then Gilbert talked about the academics and research in their university. Lougborough has a leading role in social science, information science and aeronautical and automotive engineering, making it become an elite university all over the world.
    Gilbert said that Loughborough University has a good reputation in sports and always encourages their students to take part in all kinds of activities. The advanced facilities arm their students with an access to keep healthy.
    In the end, Gilbert said Loughborough University will provide scholarship for those who are hard-working. She hoped all the students in our center will work harder and enter their satisfactory universities. She looked forward to seeing us in Loughborough campus.
